THE U.S. UNDER-15 GIRLS NATIONAL
team won by scores of 5-0, 6-0 and 4-2 against U-17 club teams at the 2008 Women's Nike Friendlies at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson, Calif.

Olivia Schultz of Minnesota's Bangu Tsunami scored in all three games.Christina Murillo of the Camarillo (Mich.) Eagles scored twice in the last games.

U-15 coach Mike Dickey was pleased with the chance to for his young players to play up.

"It gives us another opportunity for us to let them play for their country, get in an organized event playing against high caliber club teams which are older and more experienced," said Dickey. "It allows them an opportunity to play together, work on certain things and preparing for the 2010 Under-17 World Cup."

The U.S. U-14 program entered two teams -- Team Stars and Team Stripes -- and went 3-1-2 in six matches against U-16 teams. Brittany Ratcliffe of the FC Penn Strikers scored in all three games for the Stripes.
