</p><p>While he was learning his profession and coaching Vitoria de Setubal under-18's as a young man, Mourinho was also working with disabled children in his home town.&nbsp; He would happily be doing the same work if his career had not taken off in the manner it did, but the experience taught him a sense of perspective when winning the Premiership threatens to become all-consuming.</p><p>&quot;I did it for three years and at the same time I was coaching Vitoria de Setubal under-18's.&nbsp; I worked from 8am-2pm and then had a training session at 4pm.&nbsp; I was happy.&nbsp; I think it taught me to think that we, and especially the players, are privileged people and sometimes you create a nightmare for nothing.</p><p>I realised a lot about these kids and when I think of players and how they can make a war or be unhappy because they are not playing or not selected, it is ridiculous.&nbsp; The old theory that you must treat every player the same- the type of communication must be the same for everybody, the rules must be the same for everybody- I think this is old-fashioned leadership in football.</p><p>For example, I can say to one player after a match, 'You are the best player on the pitch.'&nbsp; We are in contention for a lot of trophies because of my hard work, coaching sessions and the team ethic I have instilled here.&nbsp; My philosophy is that you don't win a game during 90 minutes.</p><p>A winning team is made day by day, training session by training session, minute by minute.&nbsp;</p><p>At team has to play in the image of their coach.&nbsp; They have to be able to do things with their eyes closed.&nbsp; That isn't about money or having people working together for years.&nbsp; It is about me making them work hard and putting on good training sessions.&nbsp;
